When me and my hubby applied afew years ago we recieved credits mainly for our baby. However the inland revenue had gone on the previous years wages (as they do) and because we both had alot of job changes over the space of a year they decided that they%26#039;d overpaid us (they%26#039;d made alot of administration errors) and have spent the last couple of years recovering the money and we don%26#039;t get a single penny.
We feel really cheated because by rights we should be getting something for our child and we%26#039;re not because of their mistake. They have told us that if we have another child we still won%26#039;t get a penny until they%26#039;ve recovered all their money which will take another few years.
Has anyone else been in a similar position and did you take action?
