We have an AGI of 94k for 2007, and have 4 children, but after itemizing and tax credits, we end up with no tax liability on our returns. Does this mean that we would not receive a rebate check because we did not pay any taxes in 2007?

Qualifying participants get the following:
Individuals $600
Couples $1,200
Per Child $300
Basic Qualifiers:
You must have worked and paid taxes OR Made a minimum of $3000 but didn%26#039;t pay in you can still receive up to $300
Rebate Phase Out:
Individuals who exceed $75,000 per year
Couples who exceed $150,000 per year
However there are partial tax rebates for those with incomes up to $87,000 per year and couples up to $174,000 per year.

It doesnt matter if you did or did not pay taxes...your income is within range and you have 4 children...you will receive $2,400.00

You paid INTO it though...no matter how much you can deduct, so yes..you should get it.
