unfortunately... you can%26#039;t use your credit card... you have to pay in philippine pesos... they don%26#039;t accept us dollars... you could pay it in the airport... or you could pay it in advance at the department of foreign affairs (dfa) head office in roxas boulevard in pasay... if you are travelling with kids if you pay at the dfa office the kids get a 50% discount from the 1620 pesos they need to pay.

I believe you can. Your credit card company will bill you in dollars they will base it on the rate of the dollar in the Phillippines that day. I have used my credit card in the Phillippines and that is how they base the dollar amount. It%26#039;s actually cheaper too instead of converting your dollars to pesos in order to make purchases in the Phils. plus you can keep track of what you spent!
